The sun rising over the summit of Africa’s highest peak confirms that at 19,340 feet there are no inhabitants, no habitable spaces, and as anticipated, no architecture.

It seems curious that nomadic tribes, and people in harmony with the land, have inhabited the world in extreme climates, without architecture, and without disruption to the natural order of the earth.
